29 Hekstra. Impact of Global pollutants ...

An analysis is given of the results of the first and second
workshops (1974, 1975) and of developments since 1975 that are
of importance for the future of the MAB-14 project. Several
approaches to listing of priorities are mentioned. An example
is given of national priorities differing widely from interna-
tional classifications. Some of the processes affecting eco-
systems on a global scale have been selected for a more detai-
led discussion, i.e Impact of Nuclear Radiation, Affection of
the Ozone Layer, CO2 and Climate, and Acidification of Land
and Freshwater Ecosystems.
